My name is Brittni and I am a sophomore at Mercy College. My major is Social work, which is where I got the idea for my my blog. My blog page purpose is to bring awareness to growing issues within the youth community of New York City. Also, to reach out to children who are being affected by these issues. By visiting my page readers will be become more knowledgeable about most of the issues. For instances, abuse, homelessness, poverty, discrimination, illness and many more. Readers will not just take from my blog they will also give by providing comments and their opinions. Daily post will we shown relating to issues of youth in New York City. Sometime individuals who are affected by issues are afraid to speak about it because they feel like they are alone. By me creating this blog they will see that there are other individuals out there.
